Weather and Health

How does weather influence your health?

A person travelling from a hot climate country to a cold climate country and back will sometimes become feverish. The colder the weather, the higher the chance of  fever.

The reason being the person is heaty or hot in body nature staying in a hot climate, the skin pores are usually open allowing free circulation to balance of body heat with the climate.

When this person travels to a cold country, the skin pores become closed. Heat is trapped in the body. Discomfort may or may not be felt.

When this person returns to the hot climate country, the skin pores are still closed due to the extreme coldness and changes in the skin tissues resulted from staying in the cold climate. The body heat cannot be released from the person to allow free flow of circulation to balance the heat in the body and the climate. Fever will be the outcome.

To prevent or minimise this problem,
1. perform heat therapy ( scraping the body skin ) on the back  to release the body heat before going to a cold climate country.
2. dip in a hot pool or have a long hot shower to force open the skin pores immediately after returning.
3. drink ginger tea to warm the body and promote blood circulation and to release the cold/dampness in the body.
4. go for heat therapy again if the above counter-actions are not effective.

For fever resulted from going from a cold-hot-cold climate, heat therapy can be performed too.
