It is always not advisable to have siblings or friends to be working in close proximity in your own company as subordinate or partner but it is alright with working in other companies both as employees.
When you are the boss of the company and the children are your subordinates, the working relationship is a comfortable one as it resembles a father and children relationship. However, if the subordinates/partner are your own siblings or close friends, any serious conflict in work will be damaging to sibling relationship or friendship if the siblings or friends do not distinguish between a working and a family relationship or friendship. The result will usually ends in loss of a family relationship or friendship.
